****CALLING ALL RAILROADERS*****
We grew up when railroads ran pretty much on steam power. And they served just about every community along the North Coast of Ohio. There are few buildings remaining that take us back to that era. The Painesville Railroad Museum is located at the old Painesville depot right on the old NYC main line. The crew has rebuilt most of it and has turned it into a wonderful museum which houses much of the Collinwood Yard memorabilia. To top it off, the Collinwood Train, the 999 will be there for you to enjoy by taking pictures. Do come, bring the grand kids……..this is a walk through history!!!! |
